When you eventually venture off site, there’s plenty of Family Days Out

Folly Farm adventure theme park and zoo is officially ‘The Best Day Out in Wales’ and has a huge undercover restored fairground, so perfect for rainy days.

If you’re looking for thrills, Oakwood Theme Park is Wales’ answer to Alton Towers. The wooden roller coaster, Megafobia has been voted the 3rd best ride in the world.

Teifi Mania in nearby Cilgerran, offers a huge indoor play centre with climbing nets.

The Welsh Wildlife Centre, Cilgerran near Teifi Marshes offers insight into the local flora and fauna and has a gift shop and cafe.

If you are drawn to the rich Celtic heritage of this area, there are castles, Celtic crosses and sites of religious miracles to discover.

Art and craft lovers can check out the regular weekend craft events at St Dogmaels Coach House.
