This cosy cottage, the former milking parlour, with wooden stairs leading to the loft den (or twin room) is popular with young families. The open plan sitting room and kitchen area, means the cook isn’t cut off from the rest of the family.

Stone built, the cottage has exposed wooden beams, roughcast plaster walls and a wood burning stove on a Welsh slate hearth. Central heating provides instant heat.

There’s plenty of space for buckets, spades and wellies in the large porch/cloakroom. A spotless, fitted kitchen has kit for every kind of cooking from quick snacks to baking (yes there’s scales too).  

Comfy rather than minimalist, this cottage has been furnished with families in mind. A stair gate is fitted. The bathroom has bath and shower, so bath time routine can continue on holiday. The double bedroom is on the ground floor.

The Barn (sleeps 7 + cot)  is next door and the two cottages are often booked together for friends or extended family groups.
